The Languedoc Roussillon region is located in the South of France, between Provence and Spain. Bordered by mountains to the north and the Mediterranean Sea to the south, it is an historic region that has plenty to offer tourists and residents alike.

An increasing number of people are making the Languedoc their new home. Some are moving here on a permanent basis, some are working, some retiring and some own second homes for holidays or letting.

Languedoc Living is a personal guide to living in, travelling around and buying property in the region. We explore the mountain areas, the historic towns and cities, the beaches and coast line, and the Canal du Midi that links the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts of France.

Languedoc Living explores the Food and Wine of the region, the regional dishes and produce. We will be visiting restaurants and tasting wines and posting reviews.
